Android 12L, Google’s latest portable operating system, was recently introduced by the company as a new version of the operating system. Android Studio is all that is needed to run Android 12L on  10/11 or a Mac. To test the Android 12L emulator on your device, all you need to do is download Android Studio Canary, the most recent release. Learn how to accomplish it by following the steps outlined below:

To get started, you’ll need Android Studio’s canary build. To get the newest version of Android Studio Canary, click this link and then follow the instructions on the screen. You will be presented with the appropriate file based on the operating system you are using: For  use ZIP, and for Mac, use DMG.

Once you’ve downloaded the file, you’ll need to unpack it and browse to the “bin” folder in your  directory. After that, run “studio64.exe” by double-clicking it. Android Studio may be moved to the Applications folder on Macs by dragging it there.

A window for installing Android Studio will now open. Keep the settings as they are and click “Next”. Several files will need to be downloaded from the Internet in order to complete the installation process.

Select “Virtual Device Manager” in the Android Studio window when the installation is complete.

In the top left corner, click “Create Device.”

On the following page, select either “Pixel C” or “Nexus 9” in the “Tablet” category under “Category.” If you’d like, you may select “Folding” from the “Phone” menu instead.

Afterward, click the “Download” button next to Sv2. For those who are curious, Android 12L Sv2 is the new version we should try. Due to the download size, we ask that you be patient. With a good Internet connection, it should take less than five minutes. Finally, click “Finish.”

Click the “Play” button under “Actions” for the Pixel C or Nexus 9 device we just created in the previous two stages, then return to Android Studio’s main window.

That’s all there is to it. The Android 12L emulator for  or Mac will start up immediately. This means that all of Android 12L’s new features and UI modifications may be easily explored.

Before you can use your Chromebook, you’ll need to install Linux on it. You can get Linux up and running on your Chrome OS device in no time if you follow our extensive approach. Keep at least 20 GB of space available for Linux.

Run the following commands in Terminal after the Linux installation is complete to maintain everything current.

execute apt-get update and then execute apt-get update -y.

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get update -y

Any “unavailable” or “can’t connect” errors will be resolved by running the following command. The Buster repository will be renamed to oldstable as a result. Linux on Chromebook is now experiencing this problem.

Once you have ran this command, you may then run the command above without any issues.

execute apt-get update with the option to enable release information to be changed.

sudo apt-get update –allow-releaseinfo-change

The Java Development Kit (JDK) must then be installed on your Chromebook’s Linux operating system. On order to accomplish so, type the following command in the command line.

sudo apt -y install default-jdk libnss3

On a Chromebook, install Android 12L.

Then download the Android Studio Canary build from this link. DEB files will be downloaded.

Once you’ve done so, open Files and drag the DEB file to the Linux folder within it.

Now that the DEB file has been opened, you may begin the installation process. Please be patient throughout the installation process, as it may take some time.

Open Android Studio from the launcher once the installation is complete. The Linux folder is where you’ll find it.

After following the onscreen instructions, leave everything as it is. Finish the configuration by pressing the “Next” button. Several Internet-based packages will be downloaded by the installer throughout the process.

To complete the installation, return to the PC /Mac area and perform step #4 there. There are no differences between operating systems from here on out.

Android 12L may now be used on PC , Mac, and Chromebook computers.
